Day 2 – Hornbill Festival at Kisama 🎉🎶

Wake up excited! Today you step into the Hornbill Festival – the “Festival of Festivals” 🎊.

• Colorful tribal dances 💃, drumbeats echoing in the hills 🥁

• Warrior re-enactments ⚔️ and folk songs 🎶

• Handicrafts, bamboo huts, and the famous Naga rice beer 🍶
  By night, the festival lights up with rock concerts and a buzzing night bazaar 🌌. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 3 – Heritage & Green Village 🏡

Explore Kohima’s War Cemetery – a tribute to WWII heroes ⚘.
Visit the Cathedral of Reconciliation ⛪ and the State Museum.
In the afternoon, head to Khonoma Village, Asia’s first green village 🌱, where traditions blend with sustainable living. Return to Kohima for the night.

Day 4 – Dzükou Valley Trek 🌸⛰️

A day for nature lovers! Begin your trek from Viswema or Zakhama village. Soon, you’re walking amidst endless meadows, wildflowers, and crystal-clear streams 💧.

Day 5 – Kohima → Mokokchung Road Trip 🚗

Drive towards Mokokchung, the cultural heartland of the Ao tribe. Along the way, pass through Wokha, known for its orange orchards 🍊 and hilltop views. Evening at leisure in Mokokchung town.

Day 6 – Tribal Villages & Ao Culture 🪵

Step back in time at Ungma Village – the oldest Ao village.
Visit Longkhum Village, famous for its panoramic views and folklore 💫.
Here, life moves to the rhythm of tribal traditions – Morungs (youth dormitories), wood-carved houses, and stories around the hearth 🔥. Overnight in Mokokchung.

Day 7 – Farewell Nagaland 🌄
